2017 Student Information Sheet
All 1st year students must complete a Student Information Sheet to help organise your primary school placement during semester 2. This information is held by the Professional Experience Office and is only sent to your placement school.
Criminal History Screening and Background Check
IMPORTANT: Each of the three schooling sectors in SA require tertiary students, including international students, seeking a Professional Experience placement to undertake a Criminal History Screening and Background Check performed through the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (SA).
The Department will email you regarding your application once this has been initiated by the University of Adelaide after which time you have 72 hours to complete the process.
NB: If you do not complete the check by the end of March 2017, you will not be able to participate in a Professional Experience. Schools will ask for the certificate prior to commencing a teaching placement.
